Today we're cooking a delicious beef ribeye steak with onions and mushrooms sautéed in garlic butter for dinner using Stampede Steaks brand of boneless beef ribeye steaks. These steaks, when we bought them, were reasonably priced at $5.50 a box; that's about $1.84 per steak. What a deal that was! Now they are $17.98 a box. Next in an oiled cast iron skillet over medium-high heat, sear the ribeye steak quickly on all sides to form a nice crust, then lower the burner temperature to medium-low and finish cooking the steak, basting with butter (optional). When done to your liking, remove the steak from the pan and let it rest and, serve with the sautéed onions and mushrooms.
