We travelled to a small town in Siberia, Russia to explore what life here is like in early 2025. This is the town of Prokopyevsk in the Kemerovo (Kuzbass) region. This town was once a coal mining centre of Siberia. But now, this is one of the fastest dying cities in Russia, with its population almost falling by half in the last 35 years.
