If you are just getting into metal detecting and wondering where to start, try the metal detecting at a high school! That is where hundreds of people walk every day. There are ample opportunities for treasures had. Call the local village or city clerk to see if detecting is allowed first before you go. Typically, if it is a public school, it will be ok but just do your due diligence and make sure. I had a great time detecting today. It was my second hunt of the year but first video.
