So I walked over to İzmir Deniz Restaurant, a well known and respected Turkish seafood restaurant right along the corniche and waters edge. This restaurant has been featured in many guides, known for its seafood. There’s indoor seating an a big outdoor patio area. The menu is huge, with lots of mezze starter dishes that include both seafood and vegetables, and then the full seafood menu. You can also go inside to see what the fresh catch is for the day. I ordered a seabass, some red mullets, and some shrimp, along with some other side dishes. Meal was great, and the fish was fresh.
