I was excited to stay here for many reasons - the natural beauty of the mountains and views, the natural feel of everything, and how when you stay here, you’re directly supporting the community. There are both Hmong and Lahu people within the village, and staying at Lanjia Lodge is an opportunity to learn about both of these peoples. In fact, a stay includes a walking tour of the village, plus a visit to the traditional shaman of the village. Additionally, it’s an all inclusive stay, so the price includes accommodation, dinner and breakfast, cultural musical performance at night, and a walking tour. Price - We paid about 5,000 THB ($163.34) per night for 3 of us, and again it’s all inclusive, while directly supporting the community in an ethical way. In addition to learning about the Hmong and Lahu, Lanjia Lodge is just one of the most relaxing, chilled out places.
