During our visit to Beirut, we had a chance to stay at Hotel Albergo, a 5 star Relais & Châteaux hotel property, with a stunning rooftop pool, and set in a historical building in the heart of Beirut. The rooms are each different, all with a Middle Eastern Oriental theme. Breakfast - Before starting the room tour, we had breakfast and you can choose to either sit outside on the rooftop in the garden terrace, or inside the lounge. We chose the lounge for the ambiance and the classic antiques. Lebanese breakfast was delicious, traditional dishes, great quality. Rooftop swimming pool - The highlight of Hotel Albergo was taking a swim in the rooftop swimming pool that also has a nice bar and a wonderful panoramic view of Beirut! It was a short 1 night stay, but we had a great time.
