For this food tour today we’ll be in the southern part of Penang Island. The pomfret is marinated in turmeric and deep fried, and served with an amazing curry gravy. It’s a bit of a sweet and sour taste. Price - 20 MYR ($6.40) per bowl Gertak Sanggul Tua Pek Kong Seafood (https://maps.app.goo.gl/NHQ52UXTp9EANfEs5) - One of the highlights of me eating seafood in Penang was this hidden seafood gem on the beach at the end of the road. The seafood is extremely fresh and cooked perfectly. Price - 190 MYR ($40.51) for everything Penang is an island and you can guarantee you’ll find some delicious and fresh Malaysian seafood!
