This skill should always be practiced on the PADI IDC course as the PADI Rescue Exercise 4 - Panic Diver Out of Air skill has many steps and lot's off potential problems to deal with. You also practice this skill during the PADI Rescue Course. This is the PADI performance requirement (Objective) from the PADI Instructor Manual: Correctly identify and provide air to, via an alternate air source, a diver simulating an out-of air emergency, and make a controlled air-sharing ascent. PADI Rescue Course, Skill 4.3 The biggest mistake IDC candidates make during this skill is that they perform this skill too fast and stressed as they are trying to pretend rescuing someone for real, but this is a problem most of the time. Also in real life the farther you try to go, the shaky and stressed you are and more mistakes you will make. Slowing down allows you to make fewer mistakes which will actually speeds up the the performance of the skill in the end. So the most important thing to remember is: "Slow is Smooth and Smooth is Fast" Useful links: 🤙 Join my PADI IDC Course: https://www.saireecottagediving.com/padi-idc-course-koh-tao/ or https://www.idckohtaothailand.com 🤿 Follow my Scuba Diving Tips blog: https://www.scubadivingtips.net 🎥 Check out my other YouTube Channel: @Scuba Diving Tips https://www.youtube.com/scubadivingtips 🤳 Follow me on Social Media: 👨💻 Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/ScubaDivingTips1 🐦 Twitter: www.twitter.com/DivingTips 🐠 Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/ScubaDiving Did this video help you with your Diving Skills?
