That moment scared me, honestly. You know when something feels off and you just hope you’re wrong? I wasn’t. Hearing that grinding noise on the last day hit hard. I just stood there thinking, please don’t end like this. When they said it was “only” the chain and sprocket, I actually felt relief. Still frustrating, still a delay, but fixable. Not the end of the ride. That mattered more than time or money. I lost daylight, lost momentum, but I didn’t lose the bike. Rolling into Tamil Nadu tired, cold, and quiet in my head, I was just grateful. After everything on this trip, making it this far already feels like a win.
