The chicken is poached with fresh turmeric, ginger, star anise and peppercorns. I like to use buckwheat soba noodles for this, and the kale provides all the green goodness. You can squirrel away any extra broth for another meal. My tips included in the video as standard but there’s one rule: please buy the nicest quality chicken you can!
