By Comparing The Exceptive Dremel 4300 And A Cheap Rotary Tool, This Video Reveals Which Tool Is The Best For You. ***Get The BEI & HONG Tool

This is the BEI & HONG (aka Alloyman) cordless rotary tool I tested as the “cheap” option. It’s surprisingly quiet and totally usable for a lot of basic DIY work, but you’re trading away power and some compatibility with Dremel-style collets/attachments.

Pros

  • +Quieter than the Dremel in my testing (until it’s under load)
  • +Cordless and easy to travel with
  • +3-jaw chuck can accept many standard shaft-style bits

Cons

  • -Lower power (12V) compared to a corded Dremel
  • -Bit holding/chuck reliability isn’t as solid as the Dremel
  • -Dremel collets and screw-on attachments didn’t fit due to thread/size differences
  • -Only one battery included and extra batteries aren’t available to buy
