TP-Link Deco BE67 (2-pack)

I moved from Eero 6 Plus to the TP-Link Deco BE67 because I needed more control and a network that could keep up with a real smart home. The 10Gb WAN plus a 2.5Gb port let me stop bottlenecking my NAS and wired hubs, and the app features (preferred node + preferred band) fixed the day-to-day “why won’t this device stay connected?” nonsense.

-Not a Thread Border Router or Zigbee hub (mostly Matter over Wi‑Fi unless you have Thread elsewhere)
-Matter controller features feel more “casual user” than power-user smart home control
