I mentioned the Bridge Pro as the higher-end Bridge option if you’re staying in the Hue ecosystem long-term. My core point still stands: if you want Hue app control and features like Adaptive Lighting in Apple Home, you’re keeping a Hue Bridge in the mix. Matter over Thread is nice, but Hue’s “secret sauce” still leans heavily on the hub.
