The Hue Bridge is still one of my go-to examples of a proprietary hub that’s built for stability. Even then, iOS 26 had moments where Hue bulbs worked fine in the Hue app but ignored Apple Home scene triggers—so the hub isn’t always the problem, but it’s usually the most reliable part of the chain.

-Apple Home scenes can still break even when Hue works fine in its own app
