I brought up Homey Pro because sometimes you want automations that go beyond the “please everybody” approach of the big home apps. I still like Apple Home as my main interface, but for automations, Homey Pro is where I prefer to build the more powerful stuff. It’s a good example of using more than one controller for reasons other than just Siri vs Alexa.

- +Great for more advanced automations than many default home apps
- +Works well alongside an Apple Home setup instead of replacing it
