Hey guys—today I’m unboxing NEW Hermès Beauty, and I was honestly really excited about this one because everything feels so thoughtful and so Hermès. Hermès Beauty is created by Gregory Spileris, and to me it’s the definition of low-key luxury: not loud, not trendy—just really good textures, really good design, and products you’ll actually reach for. My SA also included samples (which I love), including Musc Pallida from the Hermessence line—launching January 23rd—and it’s that soft, clean, “skin scent” vibe that’s super understated. I also unbox the Plein Air complexion pieces and actually try them on: the foundation brush (yes, it’s $122, sounds crazy, but the quality is there), the Plein Air moisturizing and unifying primer, the Plein Air luminous matte foundation, and the custom-designed complexion tools. The primer feels lightweight and smoothing without feeling like a layer, and the foundation blends so easily with the brush—very skin-like, everyday but polished. One of my favorite takeaways is using the gold plate to warm up the foundation first; it helps it melt into the skin and makes a big difference (and you can mix shades on it too).
