Long story short - I am using Dell XPS 13 laptop running Pop OS for my work. And time to time i am using this Laptop + KDenlive Video Editor program to get my YT videos done. Works great for editing but not that much for rendering. I am not saying that this laptop is not capable to render videos, i just want to leave laptop going full tilt on CPU just to get video rendered. Want to keep this laptop in good shape as much as i can. So why not offload rendering process to my Proxmox Home Server? And that is what i will show you how to do. How to setup KDenlive Program to be LXC (Docker) container inside your own Proxmox Home Server. - Linuxserver.io KDenlive Docker-Compose doc https://github.com/linuxserver/docker-kdenlive - Series Playlist https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL3QnZSjRPkgLd3SxBSl6JfQ1iX4SkA39d - Time Stamps 00:00 Intro 00:16 Why i am doing this? 01:38 Creating LXC Container 03:28 Install Docker Docker-Compose CIFS-Utils 06:07 Removing AppArmor 07:32 Adding user 09:12 Setting up KDenlive stuff 15:19 Setting up SMB connection 19:59 Render test 23:06 The End Chat - Social - Insta : http://bit.ly/2ICNLH6 Twitter: http://bit.ly/2L2NlLS Email me: speaktomrp@gmail.com - Extra - SamsungDeX Reddit : http://bit.ly/2Xu2ERC #proxmox #homelab #kdenlive #selfhosted
