Rainy Day Van Life | How I Turn Bad Weather Into a Productive, Peaceful Day

Welcome to Lulu's Way!! It’s not a beach day today. The forecast called for wind and rain — and when you live van life, you learn quickly that plans don’t always go as expected. Instead of seeing this as a lost day, I chose to make good use of it. I found a library I wanted to visit, pulled into the parking lot before the weather turned, and opened up the van to do some prep cooking. I made chicken, carrots and onions, and Japanese white sweet potatoes, then packed up my bag to take into the library and stayed focused and productive for the day.
