Last week at our Healthy Food Healthy Life Zoom meeting we celebrated each other — our group lost a total of 160.7 pounds at this month's weigh-in!! Every week our community gathers on Zoom to support each other in living a healthier life through simple, consistent food choices. Once a month we do a weigh-in and add up the total progress from everyone in the group. This month the number was inspiring: 160.7 pounds lost together. But the conversation went far beyond the number on the scale. We talked about how peaceful life feels when food is settled, when food is organized, when food is in order, when healthy habits become normal, and when you finally feel aligned with the way you truly want to live. There is something powerful about being part of a community where people understand the journey and support each other along the way. It’s about seeing real people show up, stay consistent, and keep choosing a healthier life in a way that actually feels doable. What we really talked about in this meeting was how peaceful life feels when food is settled—when it’s organized, in order, and you’re not constantly negotiating with yourself all day long. When your healthy habits become normal, everything gets lighter: your mood, your mind, your routines, your confidence. And that’s what I’m most proud of—watching people get aligned with how they truly want to live. Community matters so much on this journey, and I’m grateful for every person who comes each week with honesty, progress, and encouragement. Nothing feels better than feeling good.
