This is the main machine I’m testing in the video: the RitFit M2 3D Smith Pro all-in-one. The 3D Smith adds horizontal glide on top of the normal vertical track, and it genuinely changes how squats and presses feel—more stabilizers, more “natural path,” and more challenge than I expected.
Pros
+3D Smith movement (vertical + horizontal) feels more natural than a straight-path Smith
+Dual 154 lb stacks plus plate horns let you go heavier despite the 2:1 ratio
+Smooth aluminum pulleys and solid cable feel when lubricated
+Good storage: attachments and barbell storage on the back keeps the front less busy
+Upgraded 13-gauge steel on uprights compared to earlier versions
Cons
-2:1 ratio means you’ll want to use the plate horns if you train heavy
-Bumper plates eat up horn space quickly (often only two 45s fit)
-Cable length/lat setup can be limiting for people taller than 6 feet
-Dip handles are smooth powder coat with no knurling/grip
