I brought in my buddy John (a machinist who actually trains) to put the Evolpow M2B Pro Brute through a real-world test. The pivot/articulating arms and aluminum pulleys are the big story here—tons of cable angles, smoother feel, and it’s way sturdier than you’d expect for under $2K.
Pros
+Upgraded pivot/articulating arms with lots of angle options
+Aluminum pulleys feel smoother and more “gym quality”
+Very stable frame; pegboard and extra bracing add rigidity
+Upgraded Smith hook system and thicker front uprights
+Good included accessories and storage (pegboard + shelf)
Cons
-Lat pulldown top-end range may be limited for taller lifters
-Smith bar stops about 19 inches above the floor
-Smith bar knurling could be wider
-Leg press setup may feel less safe without the optional safety attachment
