How to Build a Wildlife Pond

We're building a large wildlife pond at the allotment, and phase one is complete. In this first step, we dug out the pond basin, lined it, and have filled it with water. It's been a challenge due to our site being on a slope, but it's in and ready now to be finished and planted. In this video, I share what a wildlife pond is and introduce you to the small one that I have in the middle of my vegetable garden. I'll also take you through how to build and fill one and why having one in your garden could actually help with productivity. They're really a beautiful element to have in the garden, too.
