DIY Raspberry Trellis for Summer-Bearing Varieties

Summer-bearing (aka summer-fruiting) raspberries are types that produce berries on two-year-old canes. For that reason, it's a good idea to grow them on a trellis that helps you manage the canes. This design, made from pressure-treated wood, helps you to tie in the canes that will be fruiting at the sides. That leaves a V-shaped gap in between to allow fresh new growth to come up.
