Linen shirt

“[Music] hey guys welcome back to my channel so I have a nice big H&M Tri on haul to run you guys through today the weather's starting to turn heading into spring and I definitely need to give my wardrobe a bit of a shake up I'm kind of gravitating to a of like leggings oversized sweatshirts and just looking a little bit I don't know I want to be a little bit better put together and I definitely want to get some really nice kind of cute transitional pieces that are comfortable flattering curve friendly so if you guys are looking for Cur friendly fashion but make sure you hit that subscribe button cuz I've got way more videos coming up I have a Hollister one as well which I'm very excited about but just to recap sizewise I'm 5' 7 I don't actually know what size I am I think I'm like an 18/20 like UK 18/20 so all of the stuff is like roughly in that kind of size range but let's jump in I'll show you the bits I got okay so first outfit I've got on is this little setup so I've been seeing a lot of these kind of like high-waisted suit trousers um so I wanted to grab some of those but let me talk you through this top first like I said I wear a lot of kind of like big chunky nit jumpers and sweatshirts and stuff which I love but I want to I wanted to kind of find something that's like a little bit more form fitted and good like transitional bits that I can like layer up with cute jackets and stuff so I saw this top it's just a very basic ribed nice long sleeve top and I love this really deep navy blue color the quality is actually really really good it's nice and kind of thin it's form fitted but it's not like skin tight I'm pretty sure they did this in loads of other colors as well so if you want to go check it out I'm going to link everything in the description below um but yeah I'm really loving this navy blue color it's definitely a Vibe um I got this in an XL H&M sizing is wild but for me this fits absolutely perfectly let me take it out of these trousers so you guys can see how long it is I mean personally I'd always either wear this I think this would look really cute with a pair of leggings and like style up with a nice coat and some cute trainers and stuff um but I would probably more likely wear it oh gosh the paleness of my stomach is horrendous I would always probably wear it tucked into like some high-waisted jeans or high-waisted trousers but this was only £10 so perfect staple and as per usual I probably just like layer up some really nice gold necklaces and I think that would go perfect with this color now let's talk about the trousers like I said I really wanted some of these like high-waisted suit trousers I went into the office the other day and I feel like I always just Chuck on jeans and I find jeans are just like not the most comfortable to sit around in all day and I've seen so many people like wearing these really nice kind of like wideleg tailored trousers but these are actually stretchy so I order these in a few different sizes I tried on the XL and they did fit but this is the double XL which I think is better it just has a nicer kind of looser floer fit so yeah I think if in doubt I'll just go a size bigger because they're meant to be a bit more baggy um lengthwise I don't know if you guys can see I'm 5' 7 and the length is perfect and I do normally struggle with longer trouses like this they do also have petite ones so if you're a little bit shorter check out the petite ones as well but these are very very stretchy so nice and comfortable if you're looking for office stuff then these are perfect because will be so comfortable especially if for someone like me who just lives in leggings and stuff um it has pockets the only thing I can fault these on is it doesn't have belt loops and personally I would always style this up with a belt I just think it's like a nice way to kind of bring a waist in and add a little something extra and there's no belt loops I didn't realize that when it ordered so I think I'm going to return these but I'm still very much on the hunt for a nice pair of like like wide leg kind of suit style trousers cuz I'm loving the idea these do fit nice I'd say that like they're a tiny bit loose up here if I had a belt no problem but like I don't so a bit annoying like I said these ones are a double XL and these were only £13 13 so very very affordable option if you're looking for some nice comfy office wear okay next up I got another long sleeve kind of rib top with the idea that I would wear it with some like highwa trousers I think I ordered the wrong size cuz this is like a little bit too big it's just not really sitting right I think it's meant to be fitted but it's like a little too I don't know shapeless I do love this top I think I prefer it in a smaller size so I got this in a double XL and this was £19 and it's a nice kind of again perfect transition piece it's like a ribbed slightly thicker rib than the last top I'm not sure this color is really doing it for me I don't think I need to do one of those color wheel test things because I'm not sure which colors are best for me but I just don't think this is it it's a nice kind of scoop neck but as you can see the way it's sitting on me it's just a bit too like baggy and shapeless it's not really doing anything for me I think a smaller size would be better the sleeves are really long they have these kind of like slits in them but to me I think I would just have to like roll them up a little bit because they're not really sitting right um lengthwise it's got a decent length on it it's just looking a bit baggy and I don't think this is really doing anything for my figure the quality is very good and like I said the last top was a very thin kind of ribed top definitely more like thinner t-shirty material this is like a very very thin jumper so a little bit thicker if you are on the lookout for something like that I think the colors really nice I love these kind of Cary green colors I just don't think it's the most flattering on my skin type with my hair color and stuff so this one's going to be a return but I do think the price is really good the quality is really good a little bit it feel on the fit okay next up I got this from the new in section very much spring Vibes it is this very very cute kind of floaty shirt dress like I was saying I need to do this color wheel test thing to see like what season I am if anyone knows about this like let me know what season you think I am cuz I think this blue color is maybe in my color wheel I love it I love love love love this color so much so the print on it is very cute it's this kind of watercolor floral with like the White and the blues and everything it's really nice floaty comfortable shirt dress so it's buttoned down so you can kind of like button it up or unbutton it as much as you want it has a nice kind of cuffed sleeve detail and then it has this like tie belt situation as well so you can cinch it in this bit is actually elasticated super super comfortable um so yeah you can like cinch it in with this this dress is on the shorter side as you can see it's pretty short but what I love is that it does actually dip down at the back which if you have a big bum is really really nice because quite often when I try on dresses and they're a little shorter it feels very short at the back which is just not what you want um I think this is perfect for like summer spring but I think it would also pair really nicely with some tight heeled boots maybe like a leather biker jacket I did order one of those I'll show you in a minute um yeah I think you can layer it really nicely so you get that good kind of like transitional piece like I said um it's nice roomy the like XL for me is a nice kind of compromise of like it's not swamping me but there's a little bit of movement there yeah quality is really really good as well and this was £20 so I do find sometimes with nice items like this from H&M they can slap a big old price tag on it but this is a super affordable dress I would not have thought it was £20 like the fit on it is really good the quality is really good I honestly think that if if I didn't know it was from H&M at that price point I would never have guessed that it was from there so incredible piece to add to a wardrobe for spring and summer I'm definitely going to keep this one like I said I did grab a leather biker jacket this one I do love but the sizing is quite small on this I got this in an 18 and honestly I can barely get it on like I'm not too surprised because like I said H&M sizing tends to be all over the place like it's just so tight on top of my arms I do love this jacket and I think this is such like a great kind of staple piece I feel like this never goes in and out of fashion like a staple biker jacket is great and it's awesome for this time of year when you want to kind of like dress up a little bit add some layers on without having like a big old coat um the quality is really nice like I said the sizing is just like so small I probably want to size up like at least once like probably twice so I probably want to get this like a 22 so that I could actually wear jumpers underneath it quality is really good really like the style love it this is £45 so not cheap you can definitely get cheaper jackets but I would say that it's faux leather but it looks like real leather I think with something like this this will last you a long time that it's worth going that like higher price point to get something that actually looks like it's not faux leather see I do like it it's just a bit on the small side I love how I said I'm going to ster away from like nice kind of loose jumpers but I saw this and really really love this so this is like a nice kind of it is a bit of a thicker jumper but I just thought this was great for spring as well for those colder days it's a slightly higher neck not a fill on turtle neck I hate those I just feel like they're choking me out and I don't like it but this is like a slightly higher neck design I love this kind of like biscyne color with this stripe detail nice kind of rib detailing on the sleeve as well I got this in an XL and I tell the sizing is pretty spot on I've just choed it on with some fabletics leggings I already have um again you could probably like give it a bit of a tuck and wear it a bit like that as well with some jeans um go I'm feeling hot in this this is definitely like a thicker CU like jumper yeah I really like this this is £28 um I don't actually have anything like this at the moment but I do also feel like I should steer away from all the like winry stuff but this is very cute I do like this this does say that this is a looser fit and I guess it is could probably get away with like maybe a size smaller if I wanted to tuck it in probably depends how you want to wear it so yeah EXL this is 28 and check this out I found this really cute little bow clip that matches so bows are super in right now I tend to wear my hair down a lot and I'm loving this bow Trend I already have a couple but being able to just pin your hair back and get it out of your face absolutely love it but the reason I like this one is it's linen so it looks a lot more expensive than some of the ones I've seen previously which look a little bit cheaper um this was only £6 and it's like the perfect color to match with this but again like this kind of a crew color goes with a lot of different stuff like the navy blue it really pop on that and like it would pair nicely with like a nice kind of white shirt I've got one of those in a minute I'll show you but yeah absolutely love this it's just like a little clip like that it's a really super easy way to like style your hair up if you just want to get out of your face a little bit I won't put it in now because I'll probably butcher it but I thought that'd be really cute kind of clipped in there I don't know what it looks like but love this okay like I said I got myself a white shirt so I actually sized up in this and got this in a double XL because quite often I find that shirts come up a bit small around the hip area and CU I've got a big booty it's kind of an issue this is quite big I think I might actually reorder this in a smaller size so this is £8 and I love the idea of this it's like that kind of like old money that Coastal Grandma vibe that was going around like I think you can so easily just just feel more dressed up and put together if you put on like more of a shirt this very much reminds me of like my mom's kind of fashion scent um so yeah I've just got it on with the same leggings I think again if you were to layer this up even put on like a leather jacket or a Blazer or something it'll very much transform it and I love that kind of like dress up dress down kind of look where you can wear this with leggings and trainers and then have the shirt on just kind of like elevates a little bit more um so elephant in the room yes it is see through it is a linen shirt I feel like that's always going to be kind of an issue I like the fact that it's thin and it's floaty and again you can kind of like layer it up the see-through doesn't bother me I'm obviously wearing it with a black bra which is like the worst color bra that you could wear it with so I think if you had a skin color bra you'd be fine I do love this I love the floatiness I think I need it in a size smaller because it's just like too oversized for me I think there's like a fine line between having something loose and flowy and it just kind of being very baggy and not as flattering especially when you are plus- siiz I have seen people where they kind of do like a half tuck now I will admit I always feel really stupid doing this I see other people do it and I'm like yeah that looks great but when I do it I feel like I look stupid so I don't know give me guys some tips of how you would style like a baggy top for Curves you obviously could kind of like tie it up a bit oh God that looks awful anyway there's other ways you can wear it I also love the idea of I have a couple of shirts similar to this where I wear them open with like more of a vest top and like cycling shorts in summer that is such a Vibe like a nice kind of loose baggy top just open um over like a more kind of figure hugging outfit underneath I think is a really cute look so £ 28 it is on the baggie size so either stay true to size or potentially size down depending on how you want it to fit but I do love the quality of this and again I think this would pair really cute with that linen bow I just showed you guys okay last but not least I'm definitely in my cowgirl era I think loads of people are um I had to get this denim shirt actually let me show you my slippers really quickly I got these from Tik Tok shop but they also sell them on Amazon um these are the cowgirl slippers and they are so cute and cozy and comfortable I'll link these down below as well because yeah I wear literally every single day and I'm one of those people that little things like that bring me so much joy just having like little cowgirl slippers um but anyway back to the denim shirt okay again I've kind of sized up to get this to like fit over my bum and my hips um let me know if you guys struggle with the same issue where you get kind of straight cut stuff it's like too big here but you kind of have to accommodate the booty um this is too big really this like I don't think it's doing me any any favors May if I wore it open like I said I love wearing like cycling shorts or leggings with more of like a figer hugging like Cam top or a vest and wearing this open so it's kind of like a shirt jacket kind of situation um I do love this it's really really good quality I clearly got wrapped up when I was shopping cuz I did not see the price tag on this this is £55 which I was really surprised like that does not seem like an H&M price point and it's not even one of the Branded ones I know they do arette and stuff like that on there which is obviously like a lot more expensive but this is just basic H&M so I'm pretty shocked by the price tag it is really good quality and I do really like this I love the color of the denim I love the idea of kind of like more of an oversized like denim top with some leggings maybe um yeah this is like a bit too big and I don't think it's doing me any favors but I do kind of love it at the same time time but super expensive I honestly don't think that's worth the price for H&M but you know it's also got like poppers and that makes me a little nervous if you're not wearing anything underneath cuz I feel like that could easily catch on something and just pop straight open so yeah a little bit unsure about that nice but doesn't suit me too big and very spinny so that is a wrap on today's haul I would say that was semis successful I have had worse hauls from anci and like I said it can be very hit and miss especially with sizing but the bits I think I'm definitely going to keep are that first top the long sleeve kind of navy blue one perfect perfect staple to layer with the blue and white dress loved that perfect spring Vibes and I'm definitely going to keep that really cute little bow I think that's a great price and it just looks super cute and I think I'll be wear it loads um but I am still on the hunt for some really nice comfortable high-waisted wide legs suit type trousers so I'm going to keep on shopping around and seeing if I can find
