About This Video

Happy February, friends! In this video I’m adding a few simple Valentine’s touches to our home—mostly in the kitchen—because I love keeping it subtle but still fun. I’m styling a cute little Valentine’s coffee station right on my counter (since I put my bar cart away for now), swapping in seasonal dish towels, and adding small pops of pink and hearts with mugs, a heart-shaped board, and a scalloped soap tray. One of my favorite “easy wins” is fresh flowers, so I share how I build a soft, pretty arrangement using a few different blooms plus greenery to make everything feel full and cozy. I’m also decorating Mila’s room for Valentine’s Day for the first time (last year she was only a month old!). I add seasonal books to her acrylic bookshelves, garlands across the shelves, and a sweet little Valentine’s tree with bows and ribbon. I also style her dresser shelves with frames, a cute Target Dollar Spot find, and cozy touches like a heart blanket for the rocking chair—because functional decor is always the best. Everything turns out so festive, girly, and warm, but still really simple to recreate.
