Hi friends! In this Christmas decor shop with me for 2025, I’m taking you along to Hobby Lobby first and then Michaels to see what’s out and what’s actually worth grabbing. Hobby Lobby had their Christmas decor at 50% off, and I started with trees, toppers, and tree collars. I loved the traditional silver and gold toppers, but I also spotted some really pretty woven and fabric options (the gingerbread and plaid ones felt super sturdy and good quality). I also shared my thoughts on tree skirts—personally, I still think HomeGoods usually has better options—but Hobby Lobby had some great faux potted trees (especially cedar and Norfolk pine) if you swap them into a prettier pot. I also looked through garlands, wreaths, bells, picks, ornaments, and village houses. Their cedar wreath and Norfolk pine garland looked really full and realistic, and I’m always a fan of layering bell garlands into greenery. At Michaels, everything was 40% off and there were so many beautiful pieces—like the red bow garland, the brown gingerbread/nutcracker collection, velvet trees, flocked reindeer, classic Santa kitchen items, and even glass vases that work as hurricane candle holders. I left with lots of cozy, classic Christmas decorating ideas, especially if you love traditional red, warm browns, and simple greenery that feels high-end without the high-end price.
