In this video we explore and take a walk through Scilla in Calabria Italy on the southern coast of Italy. Scilla is also called the "Venice of the South." We will start with a video walk from the beach, walk through the village and then tour the castle for some amazing views from the top! If you want to visit a town in Italy without the crowds, Scilla is a beautiful place to visit as long as you avoid July and August which is the high tourist season. Scilla can be reached by train from another spectacular town called Tropea which is another town you don't want to miss, especially if you plan to visit the Calabrian region. I also have a video on Tropea on this channel so make sure to check that out here: https://youtu.be/Y9gbSazQ3R8 TROPEA ITALY https://youtu.be/Y9gbSazQ3R8
