In this video, I’m showing you exactly how I use red eyeshadow without it looking patchy, washed out, or “blending wrong” (because trust me… most reds do). I was craving a matte, dark, grungy burgundy smokey moment, and I used only the Blend Bunny x Ellis Atlantis palette on my eyes—no mixing with other palettes. The pigment on that brightest red honestly blew me away, and I’m not even being dramatic. I pack it on the lid, blend it into the crease, and then build depth with a maroon/burgundy shade to create that messy-but-on-purpose smokey vibe. I also walk you through my full base routine: Embryolisse for hydration, Huda Easy Blur primer (still my obsession), pink corrector + my little “fan it dry” trick for better coverage, and the Huda Easy Blur foundation for that airbrushed-but-not-cakey finish. For the eyes, I add a thin black liner, smudge the lower lash line with purple/berry tones, and yes—I broke my “all matte” plan because the Transcend shimmer in the inner corner just makes the look more evilness and I love it. I finish with big fluffy lashes, blush, a random no-brand highlighter I’m obsessed with, and the perfect lip combo (Morning Coffee liner + About Face Sad Song).
