I made Day 2 of the WSOP Circuit $1,700 Main Event at Thunder Valley, coming back 11th in chips with 509K—and a whole lot of fumes after bagging at like 1:30am. In this vlog I take you through the grind from 116 left down into the money pressure, the table dynamics, and how I’m thinking about stack management when the swings get violent. My plan going in was simple: don’t happy-tilt just because I bagged big, put pressure on medium stacks, and don’t get dragged into ego wars with the other big stacks. You’ll see a bunch of real, in-the-moment decision-making, including a hand where an aggressive big stack on my left bluff-raised my river block bet (and yes, I folded). Then the tournament punches back: I get coolered and go from piles to 16 big blinds, then 11, then… literally down to ONE CHIP. From there it turns into full short-stack ninja mode—stalling spots, taking the all-in show when I have to, and focusing on what I can control instead of what I used to have. I finish 29th for just under $6K, and I’m honestly proud of the fight—because sometimes the story is the comeback, not the trophy.
