This video is a first for me: I’m heading out solo on a mission to finally knock out the only U.S. state I’ve never visited. If you’ve been around Ride and Seek for a while, you know we’re usually doing this whole road life thing as a team—Abi & Nikki, bus build chaos, and all—so stepping into a trip alone felt equal parts exciting and nerve-wracking. I take you along for the real version of it: the planning, the feelings, and the little moments on the road that remind me why we chose this life in the first place. Even though this isn’t a “bus build” episode, it’s still very vanlife/buslife at heart—because travel is the whole reason we’re building our tiny home on wheels. I share what it’s like navigating the journey on my own, what I’m learning about myself in the process, and why checking off that last state is more than just a bragging-rights thing. The biggest takeaway? You don’t have to wait for the “perfect” time, the “perfect” build, or the “perfect” circumstances to go live your life—sometimes you just go, and you figure it out as you roll.
