He married my mom when I was about five years old, so I can hardly remember a time without him in my life. He was patient, a great listener, and always needed to be doing something outside; whether that was fixing cars, hiking, four-wheeling, fishing, rock-climbing — honestly think of ANY outdoor activity and Lynn loved it. About four years ago he died in a freak snorkeling accident when he was traveling out of the country. His untimely death rocked our family and even though years have passed we all still have days where the loss feels fresh. June is his birth month, and I am hoping to send postcards to my mom, so she knows that he is not forgotten.
