In this video I’m testing the OBSBOT Tail 2 Night View Mode and showing you exactly how to set it up for low-light shooting. I walk through the Night View Mode settings step-by-step, then I run a bunch of real-world tests so you can see what changes when you flip it ON versus leaving it OFF. The whole point here is simple: don’t guess—look at the before/after and decide if it’s actually doing something useful for your setup. After the setup, I do multiple comparisons using optical zoom and digital zoom, plus a 12X hybrid zoom test to see how the image holds up in the dark. I also put it up against an iPhone 16 Pro Max, because that’s what a lot of people are using at night, and I want you to see the difference in noise, clarity, and color. At the end, I give you my final take on whether Night View Mode is worth using for vlogging, live streaming, or night video—and when you’re better off adding light instead of trying to “fix it in camera.”
