About This Video

When I travel, I’m basically trying to keep the same “clean desk setup” energy—just in a carry-on. In this video I walk through the exact travel EDC and tech I’ve been packing lately after a few international trips, and I break it down by what goes in my carry-on luggage vs. what stays on me in my personal item backpack. The goal is simple: stay organized, keep the tech powered, and make airport/hotel life as frictionless as possible. I cover the core pieces that make the whole system work—my backpack setup, little quality-of-life items like a Hero Clip and wallet, and the tech that keeps me productive on the go like my iPad and accessories. Then I get into the “don’t overthink it” organization side: packing cubes, a compression cube, and a few small tools that make a big difference when you’re moving through security or living out of a bag. If you’re trying to build a smarter carry-on kit for 2025, this is the full loadout I’m actually using and why each item earns its spot.
