Flintlock Muzzleloader Hunting + More! 2013

John Royer films Cody Shaffer on a flintlock hunt in Clarion county Pa. The guys are waiting for grouse hunters in the area to push deer towards them in hopes of getting a shot at a doe. With all the deer running around, Cody was only able to get one deer to stop for a shot. Cody missed and the guys decide to try elsewhere in search of a doe. John spots a doe over a rocky cliff and Cody was able to line up for shot but Cody's flash powder was wet and he was unable to make his flintlock rifle fire. At the end of the day, John and his girlfriend Danielle meet up with John's cousin Mark and the grouse hunters for a big supper at the end of the day.
