You’ll learn vocabulary such as spiral, ripple, zigzag, vortex, lattice, symmetry, and many others. These are the kinds of words English speakers use when describing nature, artwork, buildings, science, and ordinary objects around them. During the lesson, I’ll explain each term using simple definitions and easy examples to help you understand how these words are used in normal conversation. We’ll explore patterns found in things like storms, fingerprints, spider webs, ocean water, honeycombs, and even outer space. Some of these words describe neat geometric forms, while others describe motion that looks energetic or unpredictable.
