In this English lesson, you’ll learn fun and quirky idioms and expressions that native English speakers use all the time in real conversations. These sayings can sound strange, and might be a bit hard to understand, but once you learn them, they will help you understand English speakers better, and help make your English sound more natural and confident. In the English class I'll help you learn phrases like: to have your hands full, an apple a day keeps the doctor away, to cost an arm and a leg, to hold your horses, to be in hot water, to spill the beans, to play it by ear, to hit the nail on the head, to walk on eggshells, to bark up the wrong tree, to keep your fingers crossed, to pull someone’s leg, to cut corners, to go off the rails, to miss the boat, to be on thin ice, to go back to the drawing board, to throw in the towel, and more! I'll pronounce each one clearly and give you some example sentences for each. By the end of this English lesson, you’ll be able to recognize these idioms when you hear them and start using them in your own conversations.
