In this video for kids, you will learn how to properly use a subordinating conjunction. A conjunction is a word that connects words, phrases, or clauses. A subordinating conjunction specifically connects a dependent clause and an independent clause. In fact, the subordinating conjunction is part of the dependent clause. Subordinating conjunctions can also be used to introduce adverb clauses, which add further detail to an existing clause.
