The Issue with Philodendron El Choco Red

How to propagate Philodendron El Choco Red? I will be taking a top cutting as well as some more stem cuttings. The plant has issues with unfurling leaves and potentially root rot. In each Houseplant collection there are plants that kinda act out. I airlayered it with Sphagnum moss beforehand to have the best possible chance at success. I did propagate many Monstera, Pothos, Anthurium and other indoor plants before but never such a thicc stemmed Philodendron. Wish me luck !
