These aquarium plant weights are my go-to when stem plants keep floating up—especially with shallow substrate or big tangled bunches. They’re cheap, easy to bend, and once they’re in the substrate you don’t even notice them. I use them all the time, even on my aquascapes, because they save so much mucking around.

- -If you clamp them too hard, you can damage stems over time
