Couple Buried Their Baby in the Woods: Police

A welfare check on a missing infant led New Mexico detectives to Brianna Stallings and her boyfriend, Manuel Guillen, who claimed they had given the baby to a friend in Mexico, only for investigators to discover the woman didn't exist and their stories were riddled with contradictions. After months of lies, Brianna eventually led police to a remote burial site where baby Kalani's remains were found, initially claiming the baby died in a sleeping accident before an autopsy revealed fentanyl exposure and multiple fractures. Brianna and Manuel allegedly admitted that Manuel became enraged by the baby's crying, violently injured her, and later buried her body.
