I compared the Kiwi Ears Septet directly against the Horizon because both go for a spacious presentation. The Septet is warmer and richer with more bass impact and midrange body, but it gives up some clarity and that last bit of openness the Horizon has.

- -Harder to drive than Horizon
- -Less overall clarity/detail retrieval than Horizon (especially upper mids)
