If you love roller skating content, unboxings, and honest reviews, you’re in the right place. Today, I’m unboxing the brand-new Impala Apricot Quad Roller Skates and giving you my honest first impressions as an experienced skater. Why I’ve Never Bought Impalas Until Now… I’ve been skating for almost five years and own three different pairs of roller skates. But I’ve never purchased Impala roller skates—and that’s because of one big issue: the toe stop design. I prefer adjustable toe stops for more control, but Impala has a fixed-position toe stop. That always held me back. But since these were gifted (not sponsored!), I figured it’s time to test them out for real. So, let’s dive into the unboxing, design, weight, and pros & cons of these skates. And of course, we’ll find out—are Impalas actually worth it? Unboxing the Impala Apricot Quad Skates! First off, the box design is adorable—I gotta give them that. Let’s open it up… 🎁 What’s Inside? ✔️ Skates (duh!) ✔️ Keychain & Stickers (a cute touch!) ✔️ A Handwritten Note from Impala—so sweet! First Impressions: The Good, The Bad & The Heavy 👀 Design: Gorgeous! The apricot color with lilac details and glittery wheels is stunning. 🏋️ Weight: HEAVY! The metal plate adds durability, but does it make them too clunky for beginners? 🚧 Toe Stop: Fixed position (not adjustable). That’s my biggest issue—but it does mean it won’t twist loose and fall out, which has happened to me on suede boots. 👟 Boot Stiffness: More support = better for jumps & tricks! A stiff boot protects your ankles but might take longer to break in. Are Impalas Worth It? ✅ Great for: Beginners, casual skaters, outdoor cruising ⚠️ Not ideal for: Jam skaters (no jam plug option), artistic skaters, or skaters who need adjustable toe stops 🔜 NEXT UP: I’m doing a break-in test & first skate session—so hit subscribe to see how these perform on wheels! 📌 Watch My First Roller Skate Competition Vlog Here! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mUPvktUQI8s&list=PLdBv034rlklYtmxfQY4xqZyBA53xpylFD 📌 Subscribe for More Roller Skating Reviews & Tips! https://www.youtube.com/@Larissamcooper 🌟 Follow me on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/larissamcooper/ 🌟 Follow me on TikTik: https://www.tiktok.com/@larissamcooper 🌟 Shop my Favs on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/shop/larissamcooper?ref_=cm_sw_r_apin_aipsfshop_aipsflarissamcooper_5BVMGJDDY7T2HFAD49PP&language=en_US
