Growing up in Brazil, Henrique learned the importance of helping others by watching his parents serve their community. From an early age, he developed a deep sense of empathy and a desire to make a difference in underserved communities. Today, he continues that commitment through Community-Academic Partners in Service (CAPS), volunteering at weekly produce distributions that support families experiencing food insecurity in the San Bernardino area. Through these acts of service, Henrique has found purpose, connection, and a renewed commitment to helping others wherever he can.
