Since the Komodo doesn’t have built-in NDs (and I’m spoiled), the SmallRig matte box + variable ND has been a solid workaround for me. I like the build quality, the included lens cover, and the fact it comes in a nice case—plus the cover is magnetic. Attaching it can be a little tricky at first, but once it’s on, it’s been really useful on set.
