Why Does the Fed Want Inflation | Inflation Defined | Debt Crisis and Stock Market Inflation

There seems to be non-stop talk about inflation and the 2% inflation target that we can't ever seem to reach and I'm sure some people can't help but wonder why does the Fed want inflation to begin with? In this video we will go over the real definition of inflation, how inflation is calculated, and the truth behind the 2% target that we can't reach. Inflation gives the false sense of growth. People seem to associate increase in prices with growth (i.e. if your home has appreciated or your 401k has a larger amount in it we feel as if it has grown), and while nominally yes it has "grown", your purchasing power is being eroded day by day as they continue to print more money so you end up netting where you started or even being worse off because the real rate of inflation is beating the performance of your stocks. Inflation is the tax that requires no approval. If we can up the price of everything we buy and slowly take away the purchasing power of your money, well they have just extracted wealth away from you without having to actually admit it or let anyone know. They can hide behind "rising prices" instead of what is really going on which is the dollar losing its worth and them intentionally devaluing the currency by uncontrolled money printing. We have a debt crisis that is only worsening as the federal reserve uses their main tool: debt. How long can the US dollar hold against this money printing?
