The Black Wealth Gap in America Explained | What Can We Do About It?

In honor of Black History month I want to talk about and fully explain the racial wealth gap in America. Specifically some things I believe that caused it and most importantly how we can address the black wealth gap so that we can tighten it, revitalize our communities, increase the morale in future generations and establish even more successful black communities around the nation. Sounds like a tall order, but I believe that we can really level the playing field if we focus on the right things. With America being a heavily consumer based nation, it is easy to fall victim to flashy lifestyles, brunch on Sundays and spending our last dime just to flex but it is possible to still be able to do those things AFTER we establish true wealth. The wealth gap is a challenging thing to tackle because the system is literally predicated on picking winners and losers and forcing people to become debt slaves. We can make the feat easier by adopting some of the skills/traits that I discuss and keeping in mind that it is momentum over motivation. It is easy to watch a video like this and be inspired but it's another thing to keep going month after month every year to work towards reducing the wealth gap and improving our communities.
