Rent Moratorium

So the rent moratorium was extended yet again which is no surprise to anyone as this has been gong on literally all year. But why are people so mad at landlords? There is so much talk about what we should and shouldn't' be getting "for free" during these challenging times and I wanted to discuss a perspective that is unpopular in these severely dependent on the government times. Stop the landlord hate. Not all landlords are filthy rich and treat people like crap. Not all landlords are villains. Being a rental property owner is a "real job" contrary to popular belief and it is straight up weird that people get mad at other people for putting their money to use in a way that affords them more freedom. Ultimately these policies have been putting Americans against each other and totally pulling away from the real issue which is runaway government and an increasing dependency on various stimulus and entitlement benefits from those in charge.
