Independent Women Have Been Brainwashed | Two Income Households ARE NOT Optional

Let's start by saying I love having the *ability* to work in society and have equal opportunities out here in these streets. HOWEVER it is clear to me as I see rising prices, stagnant wages, and restrictions that prevent people from earning a living, I can't help but realize that not only can I - and other women- work.. we MUST work. The policies our government has implemented since the financial crisis back in 2008 (and to be honest, maybe even as early as 1971) have really changed the family dynamic, forcing most families to need two incomes just to make it. It doesn't stop at just women either. The government has created an unhealthy dependency for many people who use the benefits. We are reassured that if times get hard we will get money to "make it." That dependency can later turn into unfair control as the government can now have their way with you, snatching away benefits if you don't comply to what they want. We have already seen how easily jobs were getting snatched away due to certain mandates so this is not far fetched.
