So how has the government spent or tax dollars since covid? As we all know there have been a couple of stimulus packages, increased unemployment and help for the small businesses but what else increased this year? In this video I compare pre covid spending to the governments budget after covid and show you how dramatic the increase was and how much more debt we had to get into. Of course there was a bump in our expenses in the health category due to all the PPE and research and development for the vaccines that the government supported. Health is typically always the highest expense the government has but it increased by almost 200 BILLION (yes, with a B) this past year. Watch the video to see what else has increased as well as how to read the income statement and balance sheet of the government.
