Government Is Making Us Poor | Helping vs Enabling Family and How It Relates to Politics

I originally was going to make this video only talking about helping vs enabling family when it comes to finances and how if you keep on giving family (or friends) guilt free access to your money it can actually hurt them way more than it helps them. But as I began to prepare the video I realized that we have this same dependency on the government except it seems like they want it that way. Government aid makes up about 25% of income for individuals and this number used to be 7%. What happens when we depend on the government for our livelihood? In my opinion we will create a society that is increasingly poor since in order to have these entitlement benefits and all these moratoriums and extra unemployment we have to take the money from the middle class and redistribute it to those in need. In some cases those people really do need the aid until they can get on their own feet but unfortunately there are others that only take advantage of the system because they can and I worry that the number of those individuals will increase if we keep on using our tax dollars this way.
